Gail Rice Scholar
Our Gail Rice Scholar acts as a conduit of insight and information between Cape students and the Board by:
- Attending monthly Board Meetings to offer student perspectives on ways CEEF can impact student life and learning.
- Attend spring and fall grant committee presentations to offer opinions (but not participate in voting).
- Solicit student volunteers to help with events (photographers, videographers, etc).
- Participate in fundraising events including the golf tournament and kitchen tour.
This year’s Gail Rice Scholar is CEHS senior Rosie Stevens. Rosie is on the Mock Trial team, a Pond Cove student mentor and member of World Affairs Council and the Volunteer Club. She plays field hockey and softball. As the 2015-16 student liaison, Rosie is excited to share the organization’s ideas and help further CEEF’s mission.
