CEEF has continued to support this CEEF/PCPA funded program from the last three years which provides 7 life skills students, including three new kindergarten students this year, with therapeutic horseback riding. This initiative provides much excitement and an incredible opportunity for amazing personal growth for these children with special needs.

7th-Grade Boston Field Trip Marguerite Lawler-Rohner, 7th Grade This grant covers a full-day field trip for the entire 7th Grade to Boston's Museum of Fine Arts. This trip comes at the end of many weeks of learning in the classroom over various subjects and helps students to see the connections between their curriculum and the real world. This continues to build on the success of the CEEF-funded trip last year.

Chewonki Outdoor Experience Charlie Carroll, 6th Grade Funding off-sets parent-driven fundraising efforts to pay for portion of off-campus learning program previously in budget but recently cut. The grant will provide $10,000 over three years. A matching anonymous grant will help the legacy of this much-loved 6th-grade program.

This 10-month pilot program promotes monthly healthy choices to all CEMS students. Issues facing our children from drug and alcohol abuse, to healthy eating habits, to how to recognize and cope with depression are just a few of the themes which will be addressed throughout the monthly program.
