Cape Elizabeth Kitchen Tour – New Date
September 25, 2021
The Cape Elizabeth Education Foundation (CEEF) has made the difficult decision to postpone its biennial fundraiser, the Cape Elizabeth Kitchen Tour. Due to COVID -19 and the many challenges and uncertainties it has created — especially for our business community — the CEEF Board decided to postpone the Kitchen Tour by one year, with a new date of September 25, 2021.
This highly-anticipated community event brings together the best builders, designers, architects, and craftspeople to create a unique tour of 12 beautiful homes here in Cape Elizabeth. CEEF’s previous Kitchen Tour in September 2018 had the most attendees in the event’s history and included tour-goers from nine different states. With enhanced social medial capabilities and presence, along with media sponsorships, CEEF hopes to attract even more people to the 2021 Tour. CEEF looks forward to the 2021 Tour and a time when our community can gather together again in support of good causes.
During the current school closure, the CEEF Board has been working with school administrators and staff to support efforts and behalf of families most affected by the crisis. This includes a CEEF donation to the Cape schools “Backpack Program” which helps ensure food availability to Cape students.
