Coverage of the 2011 recipients of CEEF's Brownell and Thompson Awards appeared in the September 14 issue of the Cape Courier.
The Cape Courier featured a story about the commission and performance of an original piece of music inspired by noteworthy Cape Elizabeth native sons and daughters. The piece's commission was funded in partnership by CEEF and the CE Music Boosters and was performed for the first time on May 12, 2011.
Cape Elizabeth High School will send its state champion Mock Trial team to Arizona in May to compete against teams from across the country. CEEF is proud to have contributed $1,000 to the team toward expenses related to its championship quest.

The Current featured Karen Abbott, Maine Technology Teacher of the Year in this story. Karen has received grant money from CEEF as well as from the PCPA to pursue her interests in using technology in her first-grade classroom. She also shares that growing knowledge with her colleagues and has contributed to the groundswell of technology interest at Pond Cove. Congratulations to Karen!
