Writers-in-Residence Workshop
Maine poet-laureate Baron Wormser and poet Dawn Potter participated in a two-day writers-in-residence workshop granted by CEEF to High School English teacher Erica Kent. In these photos students critique each other's writing on day one and the workshop wraps up with a lunch-time reading by both guests. Baron Wormser told Ms. Kent, "you have kids here who are already wirters. I'm not sure I knew that in high school, but it is important that these kids know that now." Ms. Potter's favorite part of the conference involved working with two students from the Life Skills program at CEHS. Both writers look forward to another opportunity to work with Cape students in the future.
